Hello, please call me Rose (she/her). I am a big fan of Dokopon, and wish to make a comprehensive guide to the game.
Dokopon Sword of Fury is part of the Dokopon series, a largely japanese-exclusive series of virtual party board games / JRPGs. To my knowledge, only three titles have been released in english: Dokopon Kingdom (Wii, PS2), it's remake Dokopon Kingdom Connect (Switch, Steam, [insert other platforms here]), and the remake for the previously japanese-exclusive Dokopon Sword of Fury (Switch, Steam, [insert other platforms here]; originally PS1). As my laptop can actually run the remake of SOF (thus making it the sole game I can play), that's the game I'll largely be referring to here.
Currently (as of March 2025), there are two major resources I could find for the game:
Now, good work to Dinasor- they've provided plenty of great information, and I will almost certainly be using their modding tools as they're developed. But, they don't currently know everything, and there's notable elements missing from their github page (frankly, the fact that the modding guide is also a general game guide is already more than I could for).
As for the Fandom wiki pages... Yes, they're informative, and all the love in the world to people who actually fill out wikis like that. But, Fandom is a dogshit company ([insert links here in the future]). I'd rather not have to rely on Fandom to host all this knowledge. Anyway, about the contents of the wiki pages themselves: they're good, they're informative, but while they have plenty of details and info, they're still missing major parts of the game and have assorted specific details wrong or absent. My animosity towards Fandom leaves me not wanting to try and update those pages, so screw it: I'll just make my own site.
Expect updates to be inconsistent and slow coming. I'll make this website look decent later, and I'll fill in more info as time goes on. At the moment, I'm not going to put any contact stuff on here, but if you wanna chat with others about Dokapon, I suggest checking out the discord linked on Dinasor's github page (see the link above).
